Another Local Oddly-Named Restaurant

They recently opened a restaurant in the Arbor Walk shopping area in north Austin (which appears to be a chain, but this is the first one I have seen), and my wife and I kept making fun of the name:

Once, when she was shopping in the area with our kids, she couldn't help but laugh because two ladies exited the restaurant with noticably large potbellies themselves.  Despite this "endorsement", we decided to give it a try with our kids in tow.

Overall, I would give it a decent review.  The food quality was good and it is inexpensive ($4.19/sandwich), but they are not really very kid friendly (i.e. no kids menu at all).  They made our kids PB&J, but my daughter balked because of the sheer size of the sandwich and the fact that it was toasted.  They re-made her sandwich and allowed us to keep the first one as well. 

As a minor negative, the people working behind the counter seemed impatient when we were there, like they didn't really want to explain how things worked.  It wasn't particularly busy, because we went in the mid-afternoon.  They just appeared to be kind of unhappy, frankly. 

They also have an ice cream bar, but we didn't partake that day, so I can't speak on this. 

My wife made a couple of funny remarks after we left.  She mentioned that maybe we should try out "Fat Backs" next, or perhaps "Cellulite's".  That is one of the reasons I married her - she makes me laugh!
