U.S. Home Appreciation Down, Texas UP
According to a recent report from the National Association of Realtors, the national median price of a home fell on a year-over-year basis in August 2006 by 1.7%. Contrary to this national trend, the median price of a home in Texas actually increased 4.8% over the same period. Additionally, sales are down nationally but remain strong in Texas.
