"Growth Leader" Update

As I wrote last week, I am one of the AR members helping to evaluate Market Leader's new "Growth Leader" product.  At this point, it's probably too early to properly evaluate the leads that have come through the system, but I did want to take a minute to point out one feature that they seem to have nailed down pretty well.

For the purposes of explaining this, I am going to manufacture a fictional buyer named Linda.  No reason - it was just one of the first names to pop into my head. 

So, after Linda has spent some time searching through properties, Growth Leader will provide me with a list of all of the properties that she chose to view.  For example, today Linda appears to have spent a decent amount of time looking at homes, since I see a list of 18 properties that she viewed.  That is pretty cool to begin with, but the part that I really like is the fact that this program produces a ready-made list of other homes that Linda might like. 

I have now decided to change Linda's name to Susan, just to keep you on your toes.

Susan's list of 18 properties would be sufficient ammunition to provide for a spectacular initial contact via phone, right?  After all, I already know what she seems to be looking for, especially since her particular list includes homes in a very tight radius and price range.  In this case, however, let's assume that I don't have a phone number at all, since this system doesn't require that as a field.  Instead, I need to email Susan to get the ball rolling.

With Growth Leader, this is ridiculously simple.  The list of suggested homes is just waiting there, ready to go.  I emailed one lady earlier tonight, complete with a good number of listings that were similar to what she had viewed, and it took me about 7 seconds.  No, I didn't time it.  I just thought it sounded really specific, and hence more believable.  The point is that this is an easy program to use.

Next week, after I have had a chance to play with more of the features/functions, I will provide another update.  At this point, I have received 12 leads total in 9 days, although a couple of them were fake names, which is to be expected. 

On a side note, I received two phone calls and one email from the staff at Market Leader this week, offering to help with any questions that I might have.  Since I was pretty busy, I didn't get a chance to call them back, but I do intend to do so very soon.
