New Music-Related Active Rain Group - "INSPIRED BY SONG!"

Pretty much everyone enjoys music. It can be the tie that binds us together. Songs have a way of getting inside your head, and hearing a song from the past can trigger vivid memories. Perhaps you have had a song that spoke directly to your heart, or one that helped propel you forward in your career. Songs can comfort, heal, and inspire, no matter what the genre is.
You may have already seen the announcement earlier, but just in case you didn't, I just wanted to let everyone know that Adam Waldman, Paul Slaybaugh, and I have founded a new Active Rain group called "INSPIRED BY SONG!". This group is for all music-related posts. If you have any of these types of posts, they have a new home now. This should be a fun and creative group for all of us to enjoy.
We are very excited about the prospects here, and Bob Stewart has generously decided to allow us to run monthly contests with 1000 big points to the winner each month! What a great guy! This should serve as a pretty nice incentive to check out the group, join, and enter some of the contests. Each month, the contests will begin on the 3rd and run until the 13th. Paul, Adam and I will serve as the judges. Other points for participating and for placing in the contests will be announced soon.
As Adam stated in his announcement post earlier today:
"The rule of INSPIRED BY SONG! quite simple, and it would be greatly appreciated if everyone follows them so that we don't have to spend a lot of time deleting posts from the group. ALL POSTS MUST BE MUSIC-RELATED!"
So, if you have some posts that fit this bill, bring them to their new dwelling place at INSPIRED BY SONG!
