Yes, I'm Still Alive

Rumors of my death have been greatly exaggerated. Okay, fine, so no one actually thought I had died. Either way, I haven't been blogging much lately. I have a good reason, though, I promise:

I've been selling homes.

In fact, I've been selling a LOT of homes.

This is the busiest I can remember being since 2007 or thereabouts. My business partner is busy, as are the agents with our company. Someone asked me today if there was an "uptick" in the real estate market locally. I laughed out loud, not to be mean, but because it's been far more than an uptick. I got multiple offers on a listing the other day that I was starting to wonder if I could even sell.

I do intend to return more to this community in the upcoming months as I can carve out time, and I hope to make blogging a regular part of my schedule again, but I have to admit that I would rather be closing sales than writing posts, so real estate is definitely my priority right now. I have six mouths to feed (including me and my wife), so I intend to make hay this year while the sun is shining. I hope the sun continues to shine for a very long time, so I am also in the process of initiating a few new marketing ideas.

For those of you who subscribe to my blog, I'm sorry to have left you sans content for a full month. I promise to do better sometime soon.

I will say that the blogging I've done here for the past 3 or 4 years has paid off, with many referrals and clients coming from my posts here on ActiveRain.
