I am trying to stay in the blogging saddle these days, since I took some long breaks last year. I don't normally write posts just to be negative, but this week has been pretty tough. Our youngest child has had Rotavirus all week (stomach symptoms - required a 9-hour ER visit), and we were without hot water at our house for almost 3 days (frozen supply line to tankless heater). Last night, our four-year old got very sick as well, just before bedime. Not to be graphic, but the volume of laundry we've done is simply staggering.
This morning, I woke up with flu-like symptoms myself, and I ended up going back to sleep until 4:30pm. Mine feels like a bad chest cold, with a low-grade fever.
We did have a dusting of snow for the first time in over a year, which was literally an answer to my kids' prayers, but I didn't get a chance to enjoy it with them, since it was mostly gone by the time I woke up.
This is officially the weekend, and I'm happy for that, although several of us are less than 100% for sure.
Thankfully, February appears as though it will be a very solid month of closings for us, so that makes things seem much easier. I'm currently working on three transactions that came as a result of ActiveRain (two referrals, and one consumer who just reads my blog).
I hope to be able to recover by Monday, since next week is a busy one.
Sorry to be Captain Bringdown. So, how was your week?
