I am 39 years old today! Sounds fake, doesn't it?

I am happy to report that I made it through another year of life.  I am (really) 39 years old today.  It's funny - now that I am 39, I guess people will think I am lying about my age.  I might as well just say "almost 40". 

I am hoping to take a day trip with my family today.  I am leaning toward San Antonio or Fredericksberg, both of which are within 2 hours.  As is my normal modus operandi, I procrastinated badly when it came to planning anything to do.  My wife and kids kept asking me, but I couldn't decide until late last night if I wanted to travel or hang out here in town.

I hope to report back with some fun pictures of our trip later in the week.  For now, I just wanted to thank the hundreds of people who have offered happy birthday wishes via Facebook, Twitter, and email already!
