WINNERS ANNOUNCEMENT - Inspired by Song Contest - "Turn That Song Off!"

I am sorry for the long delay in getting this contest judged, and my further delay in getting the announcement posted.  We had about 30 entries in this month, which made our job a bit tougher.  At any rate, I guess there's no reason to belabor the point any further.

The theme this past month was "Turn That Song Off!"

Keeping in mind that the goal of this particular contest was to make the judges laugh, Bill accomplished this quite well.  I will warn you that this post is at least rated PG-13, but it has some very funny moments indeed.

GAIL MACMILLAN - 500 BONUS POINTS

Donald, Where's Your Trrroosers? ~ Turn That Song OFF ~ hehehehehe

The inclusion of the song itself might be enough to guarantee a spot on the slate of winners, but the fact that Gail mentions her father singing this one repeatedly made me laugh. 

MELISSA GRANT - 500 BONUS POINTS

I am never eating a Peanut Butter and Jelly sandwich again !

I felt bad for Melissa when I realized that she is subjected to this song on a regular basis.  Enough said.

DEB BROOKS - 500 BONUS POINTS 

TURN THAT SONG OFF! THIS ISN'T PART OF OUR REVOLUTION!!!!

This song is enough to make your hair stand on end.  I heard it many times as a child, and I would probably be fine if I never hear it again.

STEVEN L. SMITH - 500 BONUS POINTS

Inspired by Song -- Stop the Song and Let Me Out

Steve brought a unique perspective as a former DJ.  I can understand how easy it would be to grow tired of a specific song in that case.

MATT STIGLIANO - 500 BONUS POINTS

I think this is the first time that someone has entered a contest writing about a first-hand experience as a band member for a song they chose.  Don't miss the picture of Matt wearing a monkey suit!
