New Custom Blog Header - Thanks, Dave Daniels!

Well, I certainly put it off for a long time before conforming, but as you can see above, I have added a new custom header to my ActiveRain blog, thanks to fellow AR member Dave Daniels.  Dave runs a company called FlyersToYou.com, and I approached him about getting a header after seeing his work on Katerina Gasset's blog

In an effort to brand myself and my company a little bit across several platforms, I asked Dave to match the look of the header to our primary Austin real estate site (and now to my outside blog at www.austinscoolestblog.com as well).  I have included a screenshot of our site and my outside blog here.

I think it turned out really well, and I wanted to take a minute to publicly thank Dave and suggest checking out his services if you have a chance, since he seems to be a talented graphic designer.

Additionally, he is a little opinionated, but I found that to be refreshing.  He told me that my old profile picture with the sunglasses made me look blind, so I changed it.

We incorporated a photo of a west Austin landmark - the Pennybacker bridge, which is a suspension bridge on Highway 360 which stands above Lake Austin.  Locals just call it "the 360 bridge", and it has become something of an icon at this point.  As an aside, my business partner knew one of the guys who helped design the bridge, which was dedicated in 1982.  Enough Austin history.

If you need assistance with marketing materials or blog design work, custom business cards, etc. I would recommend contacting Dave.  They also work VERY quickly, at least that was my experience here.  Here's a link to Dave's profile if you would prefer to contact him through AR:

Thanks again, Dave!
