Tonight, on a very special episode of Family Reunion (Recapping Paul Slaybaugh's Life)

Every Saturday, I create a weekly wrapup post for my group, Family Ties.  Typically, I include a humorous photo mocking my good friend Paul Slaybaugh.  Last week was the first time that Paul did not appear in the wrapup, and I mentioned that in the post.

Well, Paul was a busy guy this past week, and he put a lot of work into chronicling his life in photos, from his childhood to the present, with two posts devoted pretty much exclusively to his own sons.  After missing out on last week's Family Reunion post, Paul certainly made up for lost time.  In fact, he joked with me on the phone about taking EVERY spot in the weekly recap post for my group, Family Ties.  Well, I am a sucker for family photos, especially those that include cute kids.

I'm not sure if he was expecting this or not, but since Paul is visiting his sister out of state for another day or two, I figured there is no better time to take advantage of his absence and post this recap.  I had plugged in some funny pictures of Paul, then I decided that I would stick with his actual photos.

Paul also chose a terrific song for each and every post, and I applaud his efforts in this regard as well.  Honestly, I have no idea how many hours he spent culling through "boxes" of photos, as he put it on the phone to me, but the results are well worth it.

If you don't already know Paul, you should spend some time on his blog if you have a chance.  He is among the funniest and most engaging personalities on AR.  So, without further ado, I present Paul Slaybaugh's life in pictures:

My Life So Far ... (Part 1)

In this first installment, the focus is on Paul's young and beautiful parents, as well as his own childhood.

My Life So Far ... (Part 2)

The second part of Paul's journey includes his adolescence, some soccer pictures, graduation (both high school and college), dating his wife, and even the beginning of his real estate career.  Two words - prom picture.

My Life So Far ... (Part 5)

How about two boys?  Paul's younger son, Wyatt Dylan Slaybaugh.  You may notice that these photos look quite a bit like the childhood photo of Paul himself, bringing things full circle.

Soundtrack: "The Lion Sleeps Tonight" by Jimmy Cliff

So, thanks for reading this post.  I am only planning to include it in the groups where I am a moderator or founder.

Check out Paul's blog if you have some time.  It's worth your time, I promise.
