Book Project Update - There's Still an Opportunity for YOU to Get Published!

I wrote in August about a book that I am working to get placed with a New York publisher about social media success stories, both in real estate and related industries.  I fixed a deadline for this, which I have a feeling may have intimidated some people who wanted to contribute.  I also have a strong feeling that the 3500 word minimum may have scared off some others.  Based on the comments I received on that post, I was surprised that very few people actually followed through.

The bottom line is that I have received a handful of entries/chapters so far, but not enough to make an entire book at this point, and I would like to get as many different "angles" on this topic as we can.  Ultimately, I think we need at least 12-15 chapters to make this a worthwhile venture.

Here's my proposal:

  1. If you have a success story or tidbit that you think is worthy of being included, let me know, either here in the comments or via email.
  2. If you can get me a basic outline of your story/experience, I will help you flesh it out so that it can be included in the book.  I am willing to edit and even help you to write your chapter - you will still get the credit.

If you are interested in contributing, please let me know reasonably soon.  I have a few other writers that I have mentally handpicked, but I'm not sure if they will be willing/able to participate right now.

If you have a unique perspective on how the use of blogging, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, LinkedIn, or any other social medium has helped you to garner more business, this is worth considering.

I hope to hear from you soon!
