Inspired by Song - May Contest Announcement - "My Theme Song"

TV and movies throughout the years are filled with various character theme songs, including the James Bond theme, the Dukes of Hazzard, Magnum P.I., the opening credits for MacGuyver, and of course, everyone's all-time favorite theme, from "The Greatest American Hero".  :-)

This month's Inspired by Song! group contest is "My Theme Song".  We want to hear which music you feel would best serve as your personal theme music.

Is there a song that you can imagine playing when you enter a room?  What about a song you enjoy hearing whenever you have a big success in your business?  It could even be a song that you just particularly like from a show if you can craft a good post about it.

Please take a few minutes and give your brief (or lengthy) explanation of what song or songs would be the best fit for your theme music. 

Please keep in mind that it can be ANY SONG or songs, not just one from a show.  I have a feeling we may be seeing some reggae and metal songs this time around.

If you take this too seriously, you will be immediately disqualified.  We want to see some fun entries! 

THE RULES:

• The post must be tagged MY THEME SONG.  You can title it whatever you like. 
  
• All entries must be submitted between May 14th and May 26th.
  
• Only one entry per person will be allowed, but you can use multiple songs if you prefer.
  
• Post your entry in the groups Inspired By Song! and Active Rain Addicts, along with any other groups that you want to use. 
  
  
  

THE JUDGING:

The judges will be the founders of the Inspired By Song! group (Adam Waldman, Paul Slaybaugh and Me).

Although the judges are free to comment on any and all of the entries, any comments made during the contest will not be an indication of the final results.

THE PRIZES:

Grand prize winner - 1000 points

500 points for up to five honorable mention posts

200 points just for entering the contest (These points are in addition to the 200 points that you receive for every post, and whatever bonus points that you get for comments from Active Rain).
