New Contest Starts Tomorrow! Write About Your Own "Historic Downtown"

My friend Melissa Grant, who founded the Blast from the Past! group, asked me to help judge her latest contest, which should be an interesting one.  The challenge for this contest is to travel back in time and document historic buildings and landmarks in your area.

The goal here is to give the consumers a piece of history for your area. Share photos of specific areas and/or buildings. You might even consider a post about how your city or county originally got its name.

As an example, you can check out Melissa's terrific post from earlier today : Relocating to Crossville TN ? The History of Mayland TN from Crossville TN Real Estate
