ActiveRain Gathering in Texas - Saturday, April 12th, 2008!

I have been here actively on AR for about 7.5 months, and I have yet to meet anyone from this virtual world in person with the exception of those whom I invited here in the first place.  So, needless to say, I am excited about the upcoming ActiveRain Gathering and Barbeque that was organized by Ricki Eichler and Judi Morgan.  There are several of my AR friends that I know are definitely coming, along with a number of people that I don't know yet, so it should be a lot of fun.  I think my wife and I will probably ride to Bandera with Alan Kirkpatrick and his wife, Michele.  It will probably be about a two-hour trip each way for us.

YOU ARE ALSO INVITED!     The Gathering and Barbeque will be Saturday, April 12, 2008.   It will be held at the Pomarosa RV Park in Bandera, Texas.   The Pomarosa is located at 3845 Hwy 16 South.  It is about 35 to 40 minutes northwest of San Antonio.  We will begin gathering around 12:00 noon but the BBQ won't be ready until about 4:00pm.  We will have time to hang out and chat and get to know each other before eating.  I think they are planning to wrap up the "official" event around 6:30pm, although some people are staying overnight.  The cost for the event is just $10 per person, which includes the meal. 

As Ricki mentioned in her post, this is a great place to garner some referral business.  Don't miss this opportunity to network with some other high-caliber AR members.

Space is limited to 100 people total (or 50 AR Members and one guest each), so it is important to RSVP as soon as possible to save a space.
