ANNOUNCEMENTS:  The next contest for the group Inspired By Song! was announced last week.  The theme for this month's contest is "My Guilty Music Pleasures."  It promises to be a lot of fun for all of those involved!  We have 24 entries so far, and the embarrassment factor is increasing daily.  We are accepting entries through Thursday, December 13th.  Here are the rules and details.

The "Getting To Know..." segment of Sunday Bloggy Sunday is on hiatus for now.

Here is a quick recap of Adam's posts for this past week

UNITED We Stand!  - In this introspective post inspired by a song of the same name, Adam took a look back on his time here at Active Rain, and the effect that it has had on his overall business plan for giving referrals, along with celebrating reaching the 100,000 point mark.

Long Island Holiday Toy Drives - This Localism post gives information on two local toy drives and encourages donation to each of them.  One is run by the John Thiessen Children's Foundation and one is through "Toys of Hope".  Each of these organizations is focused on providing toys for needy children during the holiday season.

Trapped Inside MyBlogLog Part 2 (REVENGE of the Widgets) - In his continuing satire series, Adam explains the frustration that the widgets experienced at the hands of careless professors over the years, and their ultimate revenge as they victimize helpless "MyBlogLog" users.

BONUS POSTS!  Here are the three posts from the judges for the December song contest (I won't ruin the fun by recapping these or divulging anything - you will have to experience the horror firsthand):

My Guilty Music Pleasures - Adam Waldman

My Guilty Music Pleasures - Paul Slaybaugh

My Guilty Music Pleasures - Jason Crouch
