Dallas Cowboys Training Camp

I am highly excited, because a friend of my nephew's got me two sideline passes to the Dallas Cowboys training camp at the Alamodome in San Antonio.  I am going with one of my good friends tomorrow (wife is not interested, son is too young to tolerate it for four hours).  We are planning to get there by 1:30 when the doors open.  The practice runs from 2:30 to 4:30, and apparently right after practice is the best time to get autographs and mingle with the players and coaches. 

Having never had sideline passes to ANYTHING before, and since I have been a Cowboys fan since I was two (born and raised in Dallas, so it's kind of a law there), this should be a great day.  I was looking for something cool to get signed (football, pennant, etc.), but I didn't have much luck today.  I know that they have an extensive fan shop at the camp itself, because my mom and I went last week and took my son and nephew. 

Actually, one of the other things I am thankful for is that it is INDOORS and air conditioned, since August in San Antonio is typically miserably hot. 

Wish me luck - maybe I'll sell one of them a house!
